France Num takes BO&MIE as a use case for artificial intelligence

France Num, the French government’s initiative for the digital transformation of businesses, devotes a case study to how BO&MIE uses AI to support its international growth.

In June 2026, France Num publishes a practical case devoted to BO&MIE. The account goes well beyond content generation, which is what these subjects are so often reduced to.

Six uses, one problem

The platform identifies several areas: running the business, stock forecasting, communication, product creation, translation, formalising processes. Behind them, a single question, directly tied to growth: how do you expand fast across several countries without growing the support teams in the same proportion?

What the tool doesn’t do

The account is just as precise about the limits. The technologies remain uneven and require human validation, particularly on legal and contractual matters. Spending, for its part, comes down to a few subscriptions to publicly available tools.

None of this touches the making. A loaf isn’t forecast any better because a model has read spreadsheets; it gets made or it doesn’t. The value of these tools lies elsewhere: in everything that surrounds production and which, across fifteen addresses, takes more time than production itself.

What makes this publication worth noting, for the Journal, is where it comes from: a government platform, on a subject that is neither a product nor an opening. The same approach was already described in 2024 by La Tribune des Boulangers Pâtissiers.
